Mike Shelton, founder of Heritage Youth Sports, has a passion for using sports as a lever for positive youth development in North Minneapolis. He’s been running a small non-profit for the past five years that promotes sportsmanship, self-esteem, and developing life skills through a structured sports program that incorporates mindfulness practices and mentoring.
